cars are designed to crumple and fold to protect the occupants, it absorbs all the energy. If that is not absorbed, the occupants will each recieve a few hundred kilos per square cm force into their bodies.

Yes, however, you'll find the vast majority of this force is absorbed by the front chassis members, Slam panel and front crash bar. The Actuall bonnet, and wings absorb very little.

get tae fook the wings and bonnet are the single most important part during a frontal impact
