usually uses more power with it on, plus people can "hack" bluetooth, take over your phone and all sorts - and some dudes in the states have found a way to get into a bluetooth phone without you even knowing
but i keep my off, as i get some weird ass headaches if its on

wouldnt be suprised - like i was saying i get headaches if mines on, really weird. Plus i can tell if someone has bluetooth on on their phones/pc etc as i get a ringing sensation in the back of my ears, like you can hear when a tv is on but there isnt a picture (high pitched sound).
i think ive been abducted by aliens in the past and they have shoved something in me

Steve it will use more batt power. wont drastically reduce it but if your playing games which suck batt life then best keep it off.
All this bluetooth hacking mumbo jumbo is nothing but scaremongering bollox.
Is there anything on your phone you would be thaty bothered if someone got access to it?
You have to remember that people will only be wanting to jump out a bush and kill you if you pissed them off. Dont be scared of nothing!

aye, its really weird....but we're all frying our brains using moby's, so i dont think a little bit of bluetooth on top will harm

Um only your sim details, so basically they could duplicate it.
And your phones serial number etc etc

hacking stuff isnt bollox dude - go an check out TheReg, and they have a number of reports Ive even looked into it, and its a lot easier than some people think - its just a case of getting a bluetooth id, sending a "forgot" key to the other device and its starts the pairing process etc. You can also get bluetooth sniffers that can monitor traffic between two devices as well - it seems to be a very insecure protocol

Blue tooth is radio. So the waves are about half a mile long.
So low freq, therefore its total harmless

IMEI's arent exactly secret? They are written on the back of your phone.
Is duplicating a sim card that hard? to warrent them wanting to do it to your phone?
