Im going to make up my induction system soon. Question is what filter to use

Looking for something along the lines of

but i dont want to pay the K&N price of 40 quid.

Yet these "performance filters" on ebay are only £8-14 quid which seems a little well dodgy!

Seen a few foam pipercrosses either new or with very little use go for not too bad prices. Around £20

anyone got any ebay links to something not too dear......

unsure on the side of the neck on the filter yet but ill find it out

You can normally find universal Pipercross filters on ebay for under £20.

cotton gauze/mesh etc. = low filtration, which leads to lots of crap still getting through.

foam = high filtration, taking lots of shit away from air before going into engine.

capiche?
