I have been bidding on some Arospeed alloys for a few days now... My max bid was £260. It looked as though I was gonna win them... Now there is just over 5 hours left, and the user had cancelled all bids. I sent him an email, saying it was unfair, and he replied with this...

quote:

the item is not for sale elsewhere however i want 500 for them and the auction has not progressed far enough that it looks like they will reach that level and ebay will not let me romove the item only cancel bids.
my apologies
the item will be re-listed at buy it now 500

My problem now, is he didn't put a reserve on it... Should I contact ebay?

What a girl.

I list everything at 99p no reserve and let its find its price, as those wheels would have.

You could try contacting eBay but they won't be too fussed so long as they get the fees for the auction and his new BIN.

He could of easly put a reserve, then he coulda got what he wanted, if he didn't, he didn't have to sell them... He just didn't put one on, so he shoulda sold them for what they were at...

Email ebay, your not allowed to do that. If you want something to go for a certain price then you put on a reserve. He has broke ebays rules.

just use http://www.auctionsniper.com, you get free snipes, it will snipe 5 secs before the auction ends, just put in what you want and if you win the auction, you can leave him negative feedback.

the wheels are no longer for sale as i drove into a kerb earlier today end have knackered one completely. sorry I have had some rather nasty e-mails from some ebay members as i am having to cancel bids as ebay will not let me remove the listing. I am sorry that i am having to cancel bids but i am sure no-one wants to buy 3 and a 1/2 wheels

He's even lying about damaging one.

Either mail him and ask why he's lying, and how he intends to relist at 500 if one is damaged, or wait until he relists then register a new account and buy them and forget to pay
