As it is at moment

Straight through custom job. no silencers or nothing onto a 6x4 backbox. Full S/S though.

Now it's fecking loud, and on full chat very raspy...don't mind the rumble when idling though...But on acceleration it's actually annoying me now as it's so raspy...

Option 1.........cut and weld a silencer into the item thats on it at the moment.

Option 2.........But another full system...Fancy a more understated backbox too...maybe a full magnex system mated to the XE downpipe...3" tailpipe or that..

opinions?? what does other XE owners have at moment?

not at moment colin......

Just that think the BB looks a bit OTT too...........but it's the cheapest option as my bro in law with the garage will just look out for me when he takes a zorst off a car and silencers ok, cav or that....

get the blueflame BFO.
its the same shape ie. oval,
catback system,
stainless steel,
nice and quiet when you want it to be,
nice noise when you want it to be.
you'll just need to mate it up to the downpipe area. £250ish on ebay. delivered

reckon?

Think I might see about getting a silencer fitted, cheaper option...don't really want to spend £300 on a system..

You can get them from Blueflame still. Don't worry about bore size, you can always sleeve it if you need to.

ok joff cheers....see what happens..

spoke to my bro in law the now with garage and he said he might have a silencer in garage....

ideally would like rid of the 6x4 but if i can get a silencer on it for nothing instead of paying X might go with it..

In all fairness, Vauxhall ruined the car by making it look like a bubble car.
