Can LCD TVs be mounted to walls and used like plasma screens? i cant see any reason why they couldnt and this 30" one is pretty dam cheap

30" is pretty big as i have a 28" tv and id be happy with that size mounted on a wall.

I think most LCD use a sort of universal fixing, you'll notice 4 screws on the back of them which is where the brackets attach.

Looks like they just use standard plasma mounts

yeah universal ones we got an lcd in our kitchen and bought the bracket from b&q cos the ones they sell in currys are a rip of like £100 we bought ours for around £40 i think

Yes they can be wall mounted.... Toshiba do a specific wall mount adapter that will cost about £150.....but you can get third party universal ones for about £50-80.


I personally wouldnt touch toshiba lcd..... The panasonic 32" Viera lcd is now down to £1200.... you willl not be disapointed if you spend the extra. You will be disapointed with the toshiba.. it has a worse picture than a normal crt tv and is unreliable. It is designed to work in the japanese market- not to work on british PAL t.v's.

I had a Philips 32" LCD for a while, cost almost 3 times what that one did & wasnt perfect just had loads of features I hardly used including one that made it get recalled because it could potentially cause a fire. I havent as yet bought a replacement, theres no need to spend loads tho ive watched cheaper lcd's and the picture was just as good

go for it. may aswell get an LCD if u can afford. iv jst bought a rear projection but wish i spent a little bit more for a plasma.

30" is a tad small tho for my liking

I like my projector but tempted to sell it for a few hundred and the TV then add the little extra to buy that plasma

Video 7 are actually quiet a big company that make mainy TFT/LCD screen and back in the dat CTX they actually very good.... most of there products....
