hello.... i`m back

Looking for some help with Nova's!!!

I`m wanting to buy a cheap (white pref) nova to use as a run around till the other cars arrive. It will then be stripped and tracked.

What would be the best base model to go for? 1.4 SR? How much is realistic for a good sound shelled car?

well depends on what your going to do with it, SR and SRis and gte n GSis tend to have anti roll bars n vented brakes(sr doesnt have vented...) the 1.4SR would be a nice track car if u fit some webers and a decent camshaft to it... www.novaload.net for more info, but i would go for a 1.3 or 1.4sr...or PM ojc...

Get a pre-facelift one Adam, they tend to not rot as much as they were made of better quality metal up until they facelifted them.

Things to check are boot floor and rear spring cups, front and back chassis legs, suspension turrets and sills, if they are good then you are good.

Best to buy a standard Nova to start with Adam, bottom of the range and transfer all the goodies from GTE/GSi to it.
