Right ave got a corsa sport lowered 60mm on a full apex kit. Would putting nova 60mm springs in make it any lower? Not bothered bout rubbing or clearance, only got cav gsi 15s with 45 profile tyres.

I'm -75mm front, -65mm rear... ask Adam_D, Adam_B, Richy Lee, Hazey... they all seen it 
tbh handling now is excellent now I've finally sorted out the rebound settings on the shocks & adjusted the hight a little more...
waiting now to remove the front ARB & fit a whiteline ARB on the rear to get it even better!

That with nova springs like? Wantin it low as possible. Not to keen on cutting springs but if nova springs dnt take it down any more the grinders coming out.

Nova springs will lower it more but if u want some serious drop invest in some coilovers  thats wat PaulW has i wudda thought although his garage says its standard

i have 60mm apex kit with nova springs, its not that low mate, the front is nice and sits just under the arch but the rear could lower alot more, sits lower at the front. the handling is mint but i want to go lower at the back to, i might just buy some coilovers,lower it about 90mm

Back coilovers arent height adjustable tho. Mines the opposite. Its a bit lower at the bk than the front. How much lower would nova springs take it? Worth 65 quid?

oh yes, the no front ARB, whiteline rear ARB combo as trialed by me works a treat, you will be impressed i think.

Lower than 60mm for me is horrible, suppose its ok if your car is stripped and lightweight but over the years ive gradually got higher and now run the front at 40mm rear at 60mm and im looking for rear 40mm tarmac springs. I run GrpA Rally Tarmac coilovers with pollybushes, alloy eccentric topmounts no front ARB.

its a platform. lowers between 40-70 or so at the back, bit lower if you dont use the plaform at all...

you find me a race spec/track use corsa with -70mm suspension.
you wont.
you need a certain amount of movement in your suspension to allow for weight transfer.
obviously you havnt learned to drive a car properly, and have never driven on a track or your a chav
speak to the suspension experts like bilstein, eibach etc,

Er, no... The suspension was designed to run at a certain ride height to give it good comfortable handling. Lowering it will lower the COM, but what your really trying to do is stiffen the ride up. I mean 70mm is fuck all really, its not going to do shit to the COM, all your going to do is make the handling sloppy, especially if you use Nova springs. A 40mm drop is great for track use, along with a set of alloys with low profily tyres..... You need to know a lot more than GCSE Physics before you start playing about with suspension and chassis design.
P.S. If you want a big drop, use coilovers.

there is only 2 reasons people lower their suspension
1. looks
2. handling
by your replies, lowering the centre of gravity etc........ i assumed you were wanting to improve the handling, so i gave you some good advice, then all you do is start mouthing off.
YOUR CORSA WILL HANDLE SHITE IF YOU LOWER IT -60MM OR MORE.
the only way to lower your car more than 50mm and keep good handling charectaristics is to buy some fully adjustable race coilovers. this allows you to lower the suspension further and adjust other things to compliment the loss in ride height such as camber, bound, rebound ,piston travel etc.....
oh, and by the way you write and your mouthy attitude, you are obviously a chav. and before you start mouthing off saying "al guarantee a could outdrive u any day ya tit!" i would think not
i spent 3 years building and racing track spec super 1600 fiestas
oh and btw, good driving skills isnt wheelspinning in front of the little girlies at your local mcdonalds carpark

My corsa doesn't handle shit and ive lowered mine 60mm, infact i haven't been in a corsa that handles better than mine,so far which i am pleased about.
i suppose it may depend on what kit you use and definatly what tyres you are using. Kano-if you want to go lower than you are then do it, its your car and you do what you want, but listen to the advice. Theres no need to start arguing over a thread about lowering, maybe if someone said my cars better than your car or my dads harder than your dad or maybe not
