Mint cars, very few differences to the Evo 6 really. Servicing is 4,500 or 6 months.

Haha, could be...............

Not sure how much services cost are for the Evo but for mine:
Oil Services - £79
Cambelt service - £359
Big Service - £550
That comes every 7,500 or 6 months. Just had mine serviced and since the last service I had only done 253 miles! Gutted!

To be honest I always wanted an Evo myself, it was just insurance costs that turned me off! Thats why I got the nice insurance friendly UK P1!

Get one bought!!!!!

As Stu says, every 4.5k or 6 months - usual service costs around £300 + parts. Very reliable if looked after of course, never had any problems with mine. But to be honest if your worried about running costs don't buy one. I've spent circa 6-7k on mine in 15 months including servicing, insurance, clutch. Just gone through tyres in a few 1000 miles too

Nik i was asking as i have no idea, i have another car, i use my corsa and that on and off so its a kind of day to day car but i always have alternative sensible transport

TBH those running costs dont seem that bad! Apart from the tyres As i said i dont do huge miles in mine so im not too worried about that side of things, but i fancy one i think,

I take it its group 20 then? Im probably in grp 18 now so im guessing its going to hurt

Insurance will hurt especially as most Evo 5's are imports (if not all of them?)

You wont regret it tho! Once you go jap you wont go back!

Didnt realise they were imports

Insurance will rape me then, im 22 in a few weeks time, on 4yrs NCB. Have to wait an extra 3months for my next NCB this year thanks to adrian flux bieng fuckers

Id love a p1, but they are generally £3-4k more and i liked the idea of 4 doors, would have helped convicing my mum it was a good idea

All imports I'm afraid. Some VI's are 'official' Ralliart imports thus classed as UK cars. VII's onwards were sold as proper UK cars

if your willing to travel to bucks for servicing then check out www.stevehillmotorsport.co.uk. well respected place to get it done and a friend of mine works there if you want me to ask him a bit of info on the evo 5 if you want?
