Ok so i was going a little to fast for the icy conditions in February, and came off a little roundabout and ended up snaking down the road as an old bill car was coming the other way!! resulting in me getting my first producer (i did narrowly miss them by cm's admittedly).
Anyway i was a good girl went to the police station (next day i think) produced my docs etc and all was fine! or so i thought!!
I left my house last nite to go to mk and see who was about and 5 mins after leaving I get a phone call from my mum saying that the police had been round saying that i hadn't produced my docs and there will be a warrant out for my arrest and a court summons in the post!!
WTF

they usually give you a piece of paper stating that you've been etc - i did when i went to my local station, so use anything that proves that you've been there etc etc
although they should have records about it all, so id just call them up and say that you went etc etc

no they didn't originally give me anything but when i went back last nite she gave me a copy of the record book that they keep even page number and book number etc where they keep it at the station!!! it just pis*es me off that they come round to my house just over a month later if it was serious issue they would have probably left it longer!! I think they should go catch some real criminals!

UPDATE**
I rang the station that gave me the producer (yesterday), they told me it had nothing to do with them and that I had to contact the station where I went to produce my documents, so I did they then told me it wasn't them i needed to speak to but the officer who issued it to me!! or they said i could just wait for the court summons to come through!!
so i thought after going backwards and not forward i would wait for the court summons and let them pay for me to have a day off work and do them for wasting my time and for the stress they have caused!! and hopefully I have a warrant out for my arrest and that they catch up with me so i can sue the arse's off them for wrongfull arrest!!

When I got a producer last year the officer went though every single detail on my insurance documents and ran them though the computer.
Took at least 1/2 an hour, then signed a few bits and shouted "NEXT!"

Would it still be funny if it all backfired though and there was no record of you producing and you had to do life?
