just for everyday road use, keep thinkin what would happen if i ever had a prang in mine....? there mounted properly on the original back seat fixing points....

depends how they are worn, as most people have them loose, which is not how they are supose to be worn.
IF the harness are tight then they are alot lot better then seat belts

also make sure they're secured into the original seatbelt mounts (under the rear seats).

Definitely a no no mounting them to a strut brace or the top seat belt mounts. Often a misconception that this is safe but believe me it aint....

I'd say over all the are not as safe as seatbelts because your tiedinto your seat and you have no movement. fecking pain in the arse

I prefer them feel more secure, mine are attached to a cage and the floor so safe enough, dont attach to c pillar whatever you do

they work well when a lorry/van goes into the back of you and the c pillar moves or if you roll it and you hit the windscreen.

its stage 2.5 of making it lightweight, but i want a respray at some point inside and out so i will remove it then and get it all sone in 1 go

drill a hole in floor too for harness mounting, you can buy the cative nuts from hockleys that go under floor to hold the eye bit, only a couple of quid

Provided they are mounted correctly and you are held in tight then they are safer as the belt doesn't move at all before locking you so you move less in a crash, but for everyday 1.2 corsa driving a std belt should be more user friendly.

yea mine r mounted on the back seats jr you can run both harnesses off the original rear seatbelt mounts.... the eyelets i had with my sparco's fitted straight into them....

I personally wouldn't, the two harnesses may have a tendency to squeeze together around the neck on impact.

According to my lecturer who spent over an hour yapping about restraint systems in car, as long as their tight, then they are better than belts. A seat belt is a comprimise of safety, ease of use and comfort. The harness is purely safety. How many seatbelts do you see in WRC/F1 cars

obviously safer as your not moving anywere when strapped in properly. seatbelts only cover one shoulder so u are thrown at an angle

gonna use the two outher bolts and replace the, with eylits, then there be evenly spaced and safe
