Coming on to a motorway down slip road doing about 40 behind a red type R..
Noticed him looking and then floored it, both of us up to 120 and there was nothing in it..I stayed on his tail until we both slowed up..
Quite pleased, 2 of my m8's now have type r's so thats

i raced one when i first got my xe, was only a couple of days afterpicking the car up and my ecu light came on, but thought, fuck it, i'll have a go. he started pulling away at 115-120ish, was good though. Now the LET just rapes them.

Nice cars the Civic type R
Pull really well considering the low amount of torque. Engine really steps up at 6200rpm
Two of my mates have one
One of them has had it supercharged - 320BHP. Now thats a quick car

Yeah thats were he got it done. there are different stages with top one being 420 BHP for about 4K
Gearbox is apparently good for 450 BHP in the type r's
