I get quite alot of mouth ulcers. They're worse since i got punched and i've had a false tooth glued in, i think it might be because it comes into contact with the tooth more, but i get ulcers all over my mouth, hate them

yup thats the usual cause - lack of cleaned teeth (either you or the other person(s) )

Although just leave it and they will be gone within 48hrs or so....or gargle some TCP/Salt water

Its nothing to do with uncleaned teeth.

More to do with stress, eating v. hot food therefore burnt it, or you've bitten it.

Us chinese say its to do with too much fried food and lack of drinking water.

Hold salty water in the mouth for a few mintues then rinse. Kills bateria in ulcer and your teeth.

Kenni has it on the nail, i suffer really badly from them as i cant cope with stress, if i get worried etc, stress from work ulcer attack.

I just had 15 on my bottom gum I HATE them. I also bite my cheek so i get the mall over my mouth, cleaning your teeth helps obviosly, but salt water/tcp/mouthwash helps kill the bacteria. But mouth ulcers are fungal, just like warts etc.

So if they go you may still have the virus, ive had the virus since i was 7

Agreed, I get them after too many late nights.

Used to have them all the time at Uni - stupid sleep patterns and a piss-poor diet.

I get mouth ulcers all the time, I'm lucky If I go a month without some. They really hurt and sometimes find it hard to talk/sleep... They seem to go away for a week and come back :'(
