lol i tried looking just now... heard it on the radio this morning... same as france really, any device used for speed camera/mobile unit detection is illegal an will be confiscate it from u... apparently to make sure people do this they may make insurance companies invalidate ur ins if u hav 1 :S

There is no justification to do this, they encourage people to slow down! This proves the Gov'n't are just money grabbing twats

thats why it was dismissed last time, but now the gov or whoever are saying that with a camera detecter people are slowing down for cameras, then booting it till the next one.

Well you can get GPS palm pliot with tom tom software then download speed camera locations as points of interest wot can they do then??

But that's what I do without a speed camera detector... do they not remember that they painted all the speed camera's bright yellow? Only idiots would not be able to see those on the road.

They can't ban GPS because of all the other systems tied into GPS.
They want to force people into fitting GPS systems, so they can then buy the information from the US Govt. and easily find out who's been speeding and when - no need for cameras when drivers are transmitting their crimes 24/7
