Good thinking.

I work a lot. monday to friday and three nights a week so i dont get to see my friends much and most friends are living away at uni and stuff.

Havent seen my best mate for a while and hes back this weekend.

Its not unreasonable to say i want to spend time with him and not the the missus is it?

If you have a good stable and adult relationship, it shouldnt be about "choosing" one over the other, just say you need to see your mate as hes back for a few days, if they kick up a stink then kick em to the kurb

erm well depends i was kinda the girlfriend in that situation but circumstances are different!! If you see your girlfriend whenever you can then she should be ok wiv you seeing your mate one nite!! but don't tell her at the last min coz that will really piss her off!!!

I see my boyfriend plenty, but its nice to spend time with your friends, i think its nice to have space enough to miss each other occassionally, if i dont see him for a few days im excited when i do, its like when we first went out, friends are important, the only time friends would be a problem in a relationship for me is if my bf didnt like my friends or i didnt like his etc, but i think our lads mates are top,and vice versa, its good that we can all go out together, his friends,mine and me and him!
