RCoughtrie, They're around £180 from Dell at the mo (for the 17" at least -- hard to tell if that's 15 or 17)...

Nice monitor but response times are shocking on Dell TFT's but depends what you use it for, looks tidy though

basically refresh rate Its known as response time on TFT screens and is in milliseconds, the lower the better to stop "ghosting" etc.
But it depends what you use it for

I have a Dell 1905FP at home -- Samsung PVA panel (178 degree viewing angle)

As for people talking about response times. I get far less ghosting on a 20ms expensive-ish PVA panel than my mate gets on a 16ms Viewsonic budget panel. Don't take the figures at face value as the manufacturers test them in different ways.

Just the same as the manufacturer quoted 800:1 contrast is only measured at around 150:1 in a lab by one reviewer...

dad uses those monitors at work, and i reckon ther shite

cant see fuck all if youre not facing it directly front on. why not splash out on a half deacent LCD?
