You cant really compare the insurance cost of an Impreza to a clio and ther age will come into it aswell

Im quite cheap considering what some people pay on the same type of car (craig W - £3.5k) but still Im sure If I was female I would be alot less!

Womens insurance is always cheaper.

My missus pays just short of £200 for an Escort GTi.

My ex paid £800 FC on a 2 year old 106 at 17 where as i paid £1977.17 FC on a saxo which is the same car.

womens insurance is always cheaper. proven fact that women have lower cost accidentds resulting in lower insurance.
So my point is proven.

I know for a fact I couldnt insure the car you drive at 17, I was £700 on a Corsa GSi at 17 - under my dads name, it would be about £2k for me on my own!
