i recieved a speeding fine last week was a bit pissed off, seeing as i have a road angel 2! read the letter properly, and there seems to be a few problems with their claim........

1. the road the camera is on. NEVER been down it!

2. the date and time.......my car was in the lock-up having work done on it!(no-one else could have been driving i had keys)

3. drove down the road the next day, the raod angel picks up the camera 500 yds away! (virtually imposible to ignore / not notice the warning)

4. i was in work driving another car about 40 miles away at the time.

the letter asks me to either admit it, or say who was driving, or face a £1000 fine!

What should i do?

yes, above points can be proven, work keeps a diary of where i am and what im doing.

but that is the only good evidence i have! cant prove the car was in the lockup unless my mates statement would count?

oops, forgot to mention, the car is in my girlfriends name, although she doesnt drive it, so shes going mental as well!

couldnt find a number on the letter, so just searched the web and found their number, told me to put my points in writing and they will look into it for me.

just had another scary thought........on tihis date the car wasnt insured either. (didnt need to be as it wasnt on the road and not being driven)

do they look into insurance details as well?
