The Creative labs one is exactly the same spec wise with a better battery and looks virtually the same but costs lots less than an ipod

I bought an ipod mini for the g/f cos I knew that she'd prefer the 'fashion accessory' status than something with a bit more memory... 
 
What can you get for the money? The Creative Zen Micro is pretty much the same price as the mini, but you get an extra 1gb... but the ipod has the coolness factor and the cool touch-sensitive dial...

What you on about mate itunes is a cracking piece of software to use much easier than others i've tried.

What you on about mate itunes is a cracking piece of software to use much easier than others i've tried. 
   
 
agreed. i prefer it to media player and stuff apart from the fact you cant burn to mp3 cds with stuff thats copyrighted that you've put on. i know its for legal issues but seeing as you've bought it you should be able to put it on mp3 for the car mp3 player

i got an ibead-1000 for 125 its 1.5gb but has a colour screen and allows photos and text to b shown on screen, has a funky colour graphic equaliser whilst music showing

not to mp3 cd though can you? sure i tried and it just blanked them and did the next one. same with cds ive put on that are original copyrighted albums. 
had to us another cd burning programme to do these

yes i know , hence the reason i do not want an Ipod , i want something that does lots and is versitile and i dont have to convert all to .acc or whatever it is , i want to be able to drag and drop etc..
