Ian Joff - those were the days before Mods.. pics of the yellow and Black Torana L34 SLR5000 were taken before 1991 show pics are at Motorvation 1989 (remember it clearly) The white Torana pics were taken between 1990 and 1992.. theres a Pic of my uncles third torana (he's standing beside with a flag) that was taking in 1992!
Some Sweet motors in there tho

Optional Extra for the Holden Torana Standard on all SLR5000's.. but thats a Sunbird so i guess you could class it as a Mod My Mistake
i was meaning a mod like bodykits and stuff
If you look Closely at My Uncles yellow and Black Torana it has the Same Vent as standard

That was my point - modded bonnet because it wouldn't close otherwise, not because it looks good!!

True the old 308's and especially the 350 Chevs (like the black one in the line up pic) had shakers that sat through a hole in the bonnet.. the Scoop was to protect them although some shakers were purposely built to be exposed
The scareist thing about those pics is that I'mm 22 the oldest i would have been when the last of thos pics were taken was 9 and out of most of them i can tell you when they where taken and who some of the owners are it doesnt even say anything in the Photo Album
