Had an accident last Friday. I was staionary behind a car turning right and a woman crashed into the back of me doing 50 mph. It was the other drivers fault and they admitted this staright away.
Now I still have slight neck pains and back pain. I'm off work till Thursday.
Is it worth claiming for whiplash? My brothers girlfriend reckons I should blag it and make it out worse than it is and try and get compensation.
She got £3000 when she was involved in an accident recently

If you actually have it then yeh go for it but if you dont then dont bother coz it bumps everyone elses insurance up

If you genuinely have whiplash then claim, if you dont have whiplash then dont be one of these people that puts all our insurance with false whiplash claims. Fucks me right off

if you don't do it i'm sure our insurance will go up anyway, may as well get your moneys worth, insurance companys take advantage or every other fcuker, so why not play fair

if u genuinely have whiplash go for it - however if u dont - it could hamper future claims etc - They'll have you down as already having suffered a neck injury and as such - genuine future claims - not just in the auto realm - but at work etc - will be determined against this neck injury - hence when u really do need a pay out in the future - your likely to get little or nothing at all
If hoever yoru one of the 6% of people who never recover from a whiplash injury and it causes u consistant & considerable problems for the rest of your life - then definately go for it

Get yourself properly examined - if you're charged for that then make sure you claim for the costs.
If you've not got any symptoms for whiplash now, they might come to light in a few months time.
If you're not injured, don't claim.
Your insurance premium will take a hike (along with everyone elses) following payouts.

Go for it, you pay your insurance to cover you against damages to your car and yourself.
As you have damaged yourself you might as well claim

do it mate, i just got 3500 for mine, but i dislodged 8 vertabrae in my back and neck and have damaged my neck big style and its not likely to heal for long long time if ever!
my physio will not touch my neck thats how bad mine is, but fuck them, claim anyway.

Insurance Companies will fleece you what ever you wanna drive.
My ex put in for it, and she got nearly 3k.
Go to the docs anyhow (just to be on the safe side, ask him nicely to write you a letter to just clarify you've been.
Then when the insurance company ring/write, do not except their first offer, it'll be around a grand i expect, and just tell them, that your in considerable pain and aches since the accidant and you dont feel that amount justifys what your going through.
Kindly ask her to go back to her people and chat it over again, and ring you with a more suitable amount.

i was in a quite severe RTA over a year and a half ago now, car was flipped and written out, everyone else was fine but my back is now totally fked up, at the time i didnt think it was that bad and was so in shock jst wanted to get home etc, now im regularly visiting the doctors for treatment and start my physio in 3 weeks. i didnt get comp as it was my ex driving, kinda wish i had now as its costing me a fortune gettin to and from docs/hospital, and treatment, pain killers etc

i keep went to doc alot and i didn't claimin for nearly 5 month now ...ma mate got claim for £5k plus nightmare (like flashback) he got £3k for it!
