i would imagine it is but don't hold me to it, I never had one on my stomach, but had a similar produce in order to do an echo ofd my heart from below the stomach.
Basic a is narrow instrument is flexible so that it can follow the contours of the body without any problem and the fiber optic design produces light for the physician to see. This is pasted down your thoart

You have your throat numbed with some type of numbing agent to help with gagging, and be put under mild sedation for relaxation. If it will be long op you also get pain killers

the endoscope is gently inserted into the throat and moved forward to its intended location. Using the camera built into the end, images are then relayed back onto a screen, allowing the physician to look at the esophagus and duodenum. If the physician needs to examine the stomach, the endoscope can be used to blow air into the stomach, which expands the area so the organ lining can be seen more clearly.

During the endoscopy, if the physician notices something suspect, then an additional instrument can be inserted through the endoscope to take biopsy samples. Finally, if the patient experiences any bleeding during the procedure, the endoscope can also be used with yet another tool to cauterize the area.
Afterwards you just have a mild sore throat, if anything.

im still scared, im praying to god i dont have this, the xrays came back clear but if the blood test comes back negative or pain doesnt ease in couple of days i gota go in for the op

Lynny honeslty don't worry its the best op i ever had as they is no cutting of the skin and no bruising as the pipe is already there so to speak.

And unlike some of the others does not involve sawing your rib cage in half or ripping sking off your legs

as much as i hate operations, im startin to think that it wud be better to have that than this terrible pain every time i stand up, breathe or move

Excaulty and they do these things everyday so to them in nothing, just feels like your the only person having it i total understand. I hate hospitals as well

those little brown pills are they an anti inflamertry as well as a pain killer have to be taken after eating as they make you feel tough otherwise.

which? the sudafed or the volterol? the sudafed are jst normal ones for my sinuses, the volterol are prescribes pain killers for my muscle damage and trapped nerve in top of spine

Yes the voltarol might not be helping if you have got ulceration - they definitely should be taken after food (to protect your stomach lining).

Have you had any ulcer drugs (ranitidine, omeprazole, anything like that?). It's very rare that they actually perform surgery on ulcers - usually just give drugs to help them get better on their own.

But yes, endoscopy is sometimes used for diagnosis so they can be sure that it is an ulcer and not something more serious - especially if there has already been a bleed.
