yeah have had a look around and from Boxing sites its up in the £140's , only downfall is that you have to buy 6x10Kg weights or you have to fix to the floor.

Hang it at the back of your garage from a crossbeam if you have room, thats where my dad had his, and that weighed a ton as it was a kickboxing one.

I opted for the "homemade" option

Went to an Army Surplus store and bought one of those long green bags.

Filled it with sand then strung it up.

I have a wall mounted bracket, bought from Argos or Index cant remember, didnt use the screws provided i bought masonary bolts from B&Q, when you bolt them to the wall 2 'arms' separate from the bolt in a V shape so the bolts have no chance of coming out. Has never moved once in 4 years of being up in my garage!

£30 Bracket
£60 Punch bag
£4 Bolts

Save yourself a bit of cash and space too!

Been boxing for 4 years.

Argos Bag

is a good bag, just need a wall bracket. Bracket

dont use mitts as they have no weight and will mash up ya hands.

get some wraps and then a set of glove 14 oz will be good enough.

Gloves and wraps

the BBE No1's are good ones for the bag!.

If there is a boxing gym down the road why not just use theirs? I used to do Ju-Jitsu, Karate, Thai Boxing and Bushido at the local martial arts center and they had some really good gear and loads of mad old fashioned stuff that worked good as well. I agree with Corsa e-Tec though that mitts are crap and gloves are better.
