Was reading a similar poll on Mig and it made me fell better, I owe between £1000 and £2000 but i'm owed about £3k so it all balances out!

So how much do you all owe not including mortgages, but including everything else that you owe, bank loans, overdrafts, student loans, mates etc.

And how did you build the debt up!

Not a penny. i owe my dad about £5,000 but he said if i can afford to, and do it for my kids one day, he doesnt want it back. cool dad sometimes

Just student loans but I never spent any of it so it just makes interest.

Got to start paying it back next April but I hear its not much.

Student loans are nearly all gone now, no equity at all in my car but there's no point investing in a depreciating asset!
