Right I had a centre section made for my MR2 at powerflow / big city tyres just over two months ago. Ive been back 4 times for them to fix problems with it.

It had mega problems with it 'whistling' and after a few trips they replaced the flexi section with a different one yesterday.

This morning the back box and center section came apart where the two pipes go into each other

Now the thing is when do i give up?

If i get them to fix it ive got to go in to work at 7.30 tomorrow morning and leave early so then can put it back together.

Or do i give up and fix it my self and write to powerflow direct and tell them about my problems?

Its really doing my head in now!

If your up for a drive then Ascar in Sheffield are good. There are quite a few custom exhaust fabricators. Stay away from the Max Power places like Powerflow though, with one exception, that being Ascar, they are all cowboys.

That`s why u avoid using Powerflow, really can`t see why people insist on getting exhausts from them

I got a powerflow exhaust and cant fault it at all, workmanship is top notch. That was done at the A44 exhaust shop in worcester.

Ahh but there is Tim! I went on Yell.com spent around 20 mins on the phone and found 4 LOCAL custom exhaust manufacturer's! P.D Gough at Watnall is doing mine asap, prolly start of Feb when the weather's dried out somewhat.

Good luck, I would speak to Powerflow head office on that number I gave you first. Tell them your tale of woe (try not to insult big city too much) and ask for there advice, just tell them its getting embarising keep having to go back, this time because its come to pieces! Tell them that your not happy with the quality of there WORKMANSHIP (not the exhausts even though they rot) and that you would like to take it somewhere else - perhaps another powerflow dealer but you would like a refund or significant discount if possible. £170 for a center section is crazy really. Im paying Gough £310 and they are building me a manifold back full system with THREE silencer boxes (want it quiet) and twin chrome tailpipes. Also they use top grade stainless and will give me a genuine lifetime guarentee on it.

Powerflow are just a franchise so it's unlikely head office would GAF.
