I used to buy kinetic, dreamscape and helter skelter tape packs when at school, at the time was far too young for even risking it on the door so made do with Stu Allen's show on Key 103 after 12am when decent dance music was once played, still have plenty of tape recordings including a few live broadcast from Bowlers.

Managed to make a few events at Bowlers before it was sold out to the owners of the infamous computer fair last few events there were immense as Helter Skelter had involvement so line-ups, sound and lighting was seriously improved... all 3 of those events sold out in advance with thousands being turned away at the first one. Shame as it was by far the best venue in England and close by too.

The Ratpack near enough play the same set every time but it works too well and Old Skool nights wouldn't be the same without them. Anyone who after 14/15 years involvement in dance music who still get main stage bookings has respect from me.

I’m in a rush, tell me who got the bag with the puff…

went to Bowlers once when they where on, and they had them in one of the smaller rooms, and it was more full then the main room.
i must abmint they play most the same but i have never seen a crowed interact so mcuh and sing along to both the MC and the words of the song

"I was standing in the corner, searching for my Rizzla.."

Ratpack are great, saw them at slammin vinyl 2 years ago, and they have played in Hereford twice too. I listen to loads of hardcore, and some happy hardcore/old skool still, never fails to put me in a good mood

I dont think any (rave) act comes close to everson afro and lipmaster mark, walk in where those two are on and that atmosphere created is second to none for a night out.

I had a Kinetic CD leant it to my mate and never got it back Bastard.

Got a ton of tap packs, if you search download programs you can usually find sets to download. I got a rat pack mix of winMX the other day.

Vibealite tape pack i got from '92 i think is amazing, best one i got

Loads of Helter Skelter n all that too.

Love Rat Pack now though, grown into it, kind of
