In the past 3weeks I've been pulled over four times! Once because i was doing 36 in a 30, own fault i know! The police were really arrogant and really gave my car a thourough going over, checking the lot, its there job i suppose! Another time was because of my loud exhaust which has happened twice, cant do much about that though, unless i crawl at snails pace! (they say im attracting un-necessary attention)
Last night i got pulled and issued my first producer because 2female police officers on foot heard a loud car, assumed it was going quick and assumed it was me............gave me the whole lecture about driving with no actual destination (cruising) when infact i was going to my mates!
If I'm court driving through town again and cant give them a valid purpose as to why im there my car will be taken off me! They asked for my insurance company details, wanted to know if my engine is declared as a 2litre amongst all my other mods and they will be ringing adrian flux to find out!
They seem to be picking on me its unfair, really is putting me off driving! Can i do them for harassement!?

Yeah, straight thru with a jap back pipe, it can be really quiet, but only if im changing gear before 2grand else it just roars, i've thought about changing the back box but i'll loose performance.
For doing 36 in a 30 was my fault, accept that, but its just the way they come across, really arrogant. I'm being noted down 'APPARANTLY' as a nuisance, if my car wasn't so loud then i'd be ok maybe.
Just worried next time im going thru town to my mates, some copper who didn't get a shagg last night will be pissed off and think 'i'm doing that corsa' lol

if they can get your car taken away because they believe you had no actual destination then im sure you can have there job taken away from them if you can prove they werent doing it correctly, if i were you i would rig a camera up in your car as solid evidence of harrasment

When the police turn around and say we accept your exhaust is noisy and do not comment on it being illegal, yet still pull me because im attracting un-necessary attention for being a nuisance, thats annoying! If they tuen around and say change it then fair does!

I will do that, i assume they have set noise levels at set RPM etc I'm not sure??
I do see them as doing there job, they are police its what they do but their attitude has been poor, and its as though word has travelled around Lincoln Cop Station about me and its becoming a game for them! 5points to pull the valver corsa! Bet they have a points board up in the bacon smoking room!

This is another reason why i sold my car today..
My girlfriend lives near southend and i can guarantee i will get pulled by the police on a saturday night when i drive from mine to hers...
I wouldn't mind if i was going out cruising but nine times out of ten i am going out clubbing or something

What was the lecture about cruising? The way i see it is if it's your car, your petrol, your road tax, and your insurance, you can drive when the hell you want, and where ever you want to go. Even those goons that drive up and down the highstreet at night thinking there "it" have the right to do it... its just they look like a tit .

Well i was going to my mates which is the other side of town! I pay my road tax, so do sunday drivers who just go for a drive because they are bored! They clog up the roads as well! Police will never see it like that tho!
I'm not a cruiser, but for the ppl who are, they pay their road tax, so where they would stand in court i shall never know. Sunday drivers will never get done!

People who drive about town, if they want to do it then i dont see why not because they SHUD pay road tax! Cruisers as the police call them, they are a nuisance who have no such destination or no purpose to be driving around. Sunday drivers should be placed in the 'no destination/clogging up roads' section but not reckless in doing so! Cruisers in police eyes are seen as both!
you can be done for driving with no purpose, basically driving about and about and being seen again and again by police actually doing nothing, going no where apart from perving at women in the town centre!

Yes becuase it is illegal to collect and storage information with out warning the perosn, you would have to put a clearly visable sign up on your car warning them.
The police can not film you with out warning you hence the signs on the back of the CCTV vans etc

lol just accept it and get on with your life. they can't take your car off you for no reason. Let them rant on then ask for their badge numbers. write everything down after you get pulled. then send a letter to the boss man
