did you notice that it wasn't clarckson in the car that was actually goin round the track? They were goin very slow in the in car shots aswell.

The sad thing is - although that blind guy was for attempting it - they blatently just pretended he did it in 2 mins 2 sec...

The guy seemed to want to keep both hands on the wheel at all times and as such never knew what gear to be in... / change gear much.

The result was him getting on the straight doing 30 mph and in 5th (you could hear how low the revs were) and see the acceleration going 30...30...31....31....31....32 mph etc...

Also he was driving all over the track and wrong lines.

no way in hell that could of been only 12 secs slower than for example clarkson's timed lap or cliffs today.

It looked as though they had edited a few laps together for the footage they showed as the actual lap. As though they had a few practices keeping at about 30mph so he could get a feel for the course. Sometimes it showed him entering a corner and cutting to a shot of him coming out at at a different angle(going in wide but somehow coming out quite tight etc)
Going through the follow through he looked to be fair hammering it.

I think he should have been done for cheated it would have cost a fair bit to turn them items into funtiure

Top Gear isn't really geared towards reviewing new cars anymore though, which to be honest suits me just fine. I'd rather watch those three pratting about in buggered Porsche's than watch Vicki Butler Whatserface telling me how some Malaysian people carrier has lots of cubbyholes and costs less than a second hand bog roll.
