Right after my car was fixed by gemini accident repair centre a few days later the jacking cover which was on the sideskirt they replaced fell off, i rang up and they said theyd order one in, now its been nearly two weeks and they are still saying they ordered it buts its the supplier they are waiting on, im starting to get wound up by it, but should it take two weeks to get a simple part like that in?
i need to knw before i ring up and offer to shove my jack handle up there arse

Yeah just phone up your dealer and ask a) if they have it in stock and b) what the lead time is from Luton or wherever they source the parts from.

Tricky one. Suppliers can be notoriously unreliable, but on the other hand it's the oldest delaying tactic in the book.
Ring round and try and source your own, don't buy, just ask how long delivery would be.

i might ring them up tomorrow and ask for the num of there supplier, if they fail to give it me il tell them that i will ring everyday until they get it for me, and if they still dont i will get a lawyer involved

The supplier should be Vauxhall surely?
They can get anything in 48 hours. I've loads of obscure 10 year old parts within a day.

thats nothing to what my mates going thru with an amp he's took in to be repaired at Technicar in Sheffield, they've had it nearly 9 weeks! he's phoned up everyday n everyday he gets a different story!
Just don't lose your rag with them, just keep reminding them until eventually it does get sorted, n if they start taking the piss with it take it further

yeah uv gotta draw the line somewhere havent you, we are talking about ordering in a standard part here, shouldnt take two weeks

no get a graphics place or signwritter to replicate it
There are some adds in mags for places that specialise in decal
