It may be like the Quattro TT they do with the sequential gearbox...one clutch is used to drive the car...the next is spinning awaiting the change up/down...therefore making gear changes quicker??

Didnt see the program...anyone??

Well he said the gearbox was awesome, worked really well and said why cant ferrari produce something like this

I wonder if the 2.0T is as tuneable as the 1.8T, This golf could have a lot of potential.

Expensive but nice.

Might make CTR owners realise that there's more to that sector than facts and figures...

I've never thought of the CTR as being in the same league anyway. It's always a bit of a billy no mates.

I looked into this a lot and IMO it looks and drives well but at the end of the day 200bhp for £20k is ridiculous... okay so people will pay it but u can get much more power and class for less with a sli8ghtly used car and there are much better cars for £20k

its a really nice car but at £20k then an extra £1300 ish for the paddle gearbox its a bit pricey imo!

Not really, if I still had my CTR I would laugh at any1 in a GTi as I left him for dead in his big heavy 'luxury' GTi

Have to say that the sequential gearbox looks nifty and handling looked good the way they were ragging it around the track on 5th gear last night.

The Golf is still a car for BMW wannadrivers though
