Hello to everyone - I'm new to the forum even tho I have had a modified corsa for nearly 2 years now. Anywhoo I finally got round to joining and I think I may have a few things that people will be interested in.
Firstly I have just bought a 1.8 SRI engine out of the corsa C and I am planning on fitting this to mine (Corsa C SXI 1.2) sometime around Christmas (but possibly Easter). I am planning on putting a full step by step guide on how to do this on a friends website - the link should be on the bottom of this thread. This will also include a "how to" on changing the rear beam. Any thoughts or suggestions on this will be appreciated.
I have also noticed that some people have been wondering how to fit solenoids to their car - I have not had time to fully search the forums but if anyone would still like advice on how to do this then I may be able to help as I have fitted them to my doors and bootlid.
Finally, I would like some simple advice on how to add some pics of my car to my garage. Am I missing something obvious or am I just not allowed to do this yet seen as I'm new?
Regards,
Anthony.

You gotta become a premium member (£12.50) to get the garage space. It's easy then.

Indeed they are! But because the engine is out of a C it shold be less of a nightmare! Hopefully.
Will sign up soon so that I can get my garage going - in the meantime there are a few pics @ http://www.rigbyc.plus.com/gallery/Cars/McKennas%20Corsa%20SXI/index.htm

Thanks mate - it suits a modified car better than standard. One of the best Manufacturers colours I think, that and Nissan do a similar one for their 350Z.

Reasonably cheap - for what I got with it its cheap because it came with the whole rear beam also.
Not been to my dealers yet but does anyone know if the driveshafts are the same on the SXI as they are on the SRI. I would have thought not but seen as its not a mega powerful engine maybe they might have just made them the same throughout the range.

Was thinkin of doing that but it means that I'd have to cut away the wheel well to get the pipe over the other side.
Install is a lot different now cause I have removed the rear seats in flavour of a 4 point cage - not fitted yet though - should be before christmas. I could do with putting a few more pics on the site actually cause there's none of how my interior now looks.

Yes I did
I wasn't prepared to let it get away so I made him and offer and he took it It's in superb condition.
Yes the arches - long story about that! Short version - They were gonna go on my car but not anymore. If anyone would like the long version send a cheque payable to me for the writing costs... lol.

Yes it is the Super 1600 kit but I am no longer fitting it as it is too wide!!! It is an exact replica of the super 1600 rally car and is 50mm wider on each side! That means running rather large spacers and only being able to drive in a straight line as there wouldn't be enough room for the front wheels to turn.
If you want painted pictures go onto Google Images and type in Corsa Super 1600 - plenty come up.

That is correct my friend - and I am very gutted that it is no longer going on my car!
It was lined up for the front cover of Max too. Dammit!
(P.S. I don't actually buy Max Power - they were just willing to put it on the front cover) Redline and TV rule
