19 Years Old, live with parents still, but for last 3 years every day without fail when i get in my bedroom is spick and span, all the drawers tidied neatly, etc right down to last detail, now no matter how much i plead for some privacy im told its their house and they will go where they want. Jesus i could have anything lying about, none of mates parents are like that just wondered how many off here have experienced it? Or are my parents seriously deranged like i thought? lol

I wish someone would come and tidy my flat I wouldn't complain, just remove a floor board or get a locked tin to put personal stuff in
I wish i was still at home but my parents were like no your not going out tonight, no your not getting another car, it's our house and we'll tell you what you can and can't do. I had to get out before i cracked up or had a break down or something, it's was just so stressfull

lol yeh mate i had that today, came in and found a nice opened letter from next catalogue saying i owe them £83 lol - I really dont understand it. Gotta move out but cant afford flat rental near my house, looking at £450 - £600 unfurnished for decent flat and then theres months upfront deposit too.

if my folks opened my letters i would do a fooking nut i would have a go at them about it! and if they say its their house blah blah, say that your letters arnt their property so tell them to GTF If that fails, then just start opening their letters as well, and if they say anything, say "oh i thought we could all open each others letters" etc etc

get a safe mate and get all of your mail redirected to a friends house etc and if they ask tell them its none of their business, and if they dont like do what they want etc etc Then drop in something about how you decide where their nursing home is and that you wouldnt like to tell their future grand children that their grandparents are witches or something, or at worse, dont exist etc.
ive done this to my old man (me old dear is safe as fook ) and he shut up, and hasnt really done anything since
tbh mate, it depends on how well you can live with it....i know i wouldnt have anything of it. Tbh mate, if you arnt paying rent, then offer them something every month (if your working etc) and they might start to leave you alone.

not all of us can afford it mate. And yes get a better job, just isnt possible due to qualifications etc etc
Eitherway, you parents should still respect your privacy, same as you do with theirs.
