I wanna get a brush effect resray in blue. How much will this cost Had no lecture so i poped down to a body shop i've used a few times and they said £3,500

can even do it your self.

Go down to B&Q

buy a 5" paint brush

brush on the paint,

Because they had gotta be ripping me off. I thought more like £1,500 tops.

Think i will spend the money on wheels, stereo and private plate

Well what do you class a "brush" effect

if its complete custom art work air brushed ALL over the car,

3500 is very cheap,

however if its just a respray then its alot?

What did you get a quote for exactly?

I'll wait a few years i think, that's some money for a bit of paint.

I just asked for a quote for a brushed effect spay. The dude comes and looks at my car and askes if i want the bumpers, mirrors and trim doing and i said yeah. He then says, we have several colours and they will cosy £3,500 each and will take 2 days to complete the work.

It's a nice smooth paint job that looks like the paint has been put on with a brush.

Its not brushed effect, it is actually brushed on. Instead of using a spray gun they paint it on by hand.

dont you mean marble paint?? if so its mopped on. loads and loads of hard work to get it perfect, and most garages have never done it, so will charge you a bomb to cover themselves if it goes wrong
