Hi all,
Just wondering what everyone thinks of these - there doesn't seem to be many about and not many people on here talk about them. Most of the talk is understandably about Corsa B GSi's etc.
They run 123bhp approx and apparently hit 60 in 8 secs and can clock up to 126mph. Can anyone vouch for these figures? Whats the handling like?
All comments welcome! Cheers, Dave

I think the whole car looks pretty smooth to be honest, especially in sapphire black or star silver. If you buy on-line from Vauxhall you get nearly a grand knocked off the price!
The insurance group is low too, only a 9 I think. There must be some reason that hardly anyone has one?!?!

Was down local dealer and they had a pre-facelift(better shape IMO except lights) 6K miles 03 plate one in silver but 1.4 ad i think they look great!
But the only thing that lets them down i think is the price compared to other makes with similar models!
I would deffo have one though!

Did you see the Exclusiv limited edition? Full leather interior, full bodykit, 16inch multi-spokes, electronic climate control, 1.4 16v, for about 10K brand new. If it only had the 1.8 16v engine I would have had it.
I've seen one of these exclusiv's in black and it looked smart as.

IMO the exclusive was a pretty poor attempt!
The outside was very nice but neede 17s IMO and the leather was very dissapointing!

I just wasnt impressed with the leather!
It was nice but nothing special very bland design and grey! Goes with the rest of the bland grey interior but would have been nice to do somthing a little nicer!

I like the corsa 1.8 SRi. bit of performance for a low insurance group.

1.8 SRi is a nice car to drive, does 60 in less than 8 secs, 1/4 mile 15.8 secs and sits on the limiter in 5th no problem. The 04 models don't have traction control so can be a bit of a handful in the wet.
Miss Minx where'd you race one?

Thats quicker than I expected. Thats quicker than a 206 GTi. Almost as quick as a Clio 172.
I take it you have a 1.8 SRi Chris?
