Two vids. Me vs stripped out 2.0 mk1 clio, he reckoned about 180bhp (800kg). I'm 3 up with boot reemed full of tools/trollyjack etc!

First vid I did wank becuase I hit the limiter straight away of the gear I dropped it into so lost momentum big time! Second vid I just got moving, then had to stop!

IMO I didn't do too well, but the Clio is an animal, no weight and good ratios (tops out at 131mph I think!). Respect to it, top motor!

I can tell you exactally what would happen with me and him: We both boot it, were both identical, then he hits limiter in 5th and I keep going!

at the moment i would be last everytime, but to be honest my corsa aint that bad compared to most 2litre turbo'd things you see about, mines modified and what have ya, but tims and wilkesy's would just take the piss.
however put me up against something nearer tuned to mine and it would be a fair race, clio cups, megane turbos, subaru impreza......no problem!

Mike if I get it fixed before I go away on hols (week today), I'll take you out. Needs new fuel tank and another bleed of the brakes. All depends on the tank situation (brakes not hard lol)

VT you should dust Cups, raced one a few times and they not near really. Reckon if I turned down to standard boost it should be neck and neck! You running more than standard aren't you?

yeah not a massive spec but software is 270bhp standard, just done a few engine mods to take the power up another 14donkeys

i hardly rag it though, engine wise its well looked after, i never wash it cos the fibreglass days ive grown out of now. Time for some proper engineering, i just have to be patient with the new one and not get too giddy with it.
