Whats a reasonable price for one?
Completely standard, 1.2 or similiar, not after performance, just one in good condition...
there are a few on trader going from 2-300 but are complete buckets

£300 for one with a sound engine and an MOT for a few months would be an okay price

Have a good look around all arches, try to inspect what you can of the floors by underneath, all around inside the engine bay etc.
£3-500 should see you with a good condition car. If its a possible project, then you'd be better buying from a specialist.

Got mine for 300 quid as I knew the history of it and the owner did'nt realise that the shell was excellent.
MOT tester said structually its the best one he has seen in years

Old Vauxhall Arches and the suspension turrets also have a bad habit of rusting as do the inner wings.
Check the strenghing bar behind the front bumper is present.
Finding a "good" example of even non-performance models is starting to prove very very difficult.
