yeah but to be fair your talking about a 2 litre turbo in a corsa... against a factory designed hot hatch, I know lots of people dislike the CTR... however I think its a great car and a very good all round performer... ive seen a CTR pull a 14.8 standard before... LCR is a decent car also... Jabba chipped unbelivable 280bhp

Interesting to see what a CTR with a VTEC controller would do 1/4

Fads - agree... I too can stick with them quite easily until silly speak... in a french tinbox... me personally, there is just something about them, and would love one...I know of a std XE that has ran 14.6 which would outgun a CTR... its more an all round mota

Once again my point about CTR's being over rated was proved again.
I only saw one CTR run under a 15 second quarter mile and that was that supercharged one.
All they do is wheel spin. I was very unimpressed with the Leon as well, but its funny because the Astra Turbos that were running were consistantly getting under 15 second quarter miles.

SQM is not the be all and end all When I raced at SP there were RX7's doing high 16s so it just proves that point

But you can easily get traction jus not on the stupid SP track I pulled MUCH MUCH better starts at traffic lights than i cud on that stupid surface.
That said I agree, UK CTR's shud have the JDM LSD
