ive come accross 2 in my corsa Gsi B....
my car isnt anything special yet, at most about 115BHP
the 1st GT race i had looked modded, he came up behind me in some country roads when i was just cruising, could hear his dump valve going of behind me thats how loud it was!! im sure he was driving by himself, were as i had 2 passengers, he was up my arse the whole way upto about 80mph redline in 4th, nothing i could do!! but he cudnt overtake me 
then i let him overtake to see if i cud keep up with him... and i did pretty well, was right on his bumper but he was edging forward slightly
the second time a GT came up behind me in the speed lane on a motorway!! and he tried to undertake me, he was succeeding though! untill a car got in his way  but i had a full car and was in 5th gear the gt only had 2 people alltogether and didnt look very modded except for the dump valve

Ive never raced one, in fact ive only ever seen 1.

Most are shagged, the ones that aint have usually had a bit of cash spent on them, and as a result they are the good ones

Wasnt that impressed with them TBH when had a tussle with a few in the Spurt 1.6. Probably buggered the way t was throwing out black smoke though!

I raced a raider in my 1.4 sport and he fucking raped me 
I also raced OJC in his Gsi and i wansnt *that far off!
So in short. He was either a shit driver or the car was fooked.
And they arnt ugly 
I want one cheap as chips too

They are rapid little cars, owned both r5 gtt and corsa gsi, and im afraid the 5 would rape the gsi (obviuosly depending on mods) but if both are pretty standard, the 5 would win hands down.
Oh and Ned how can you say they are ugly, i love the shape of them!!
