saw speed trap so slowed down but dunno if i did it in time but other forum i asked how far off do they read your car most ppl said a mile

think was a 30 was doin around 50ish
but no1 ever does, road is 2lanes each n is by edinburgh airport if ppl know it, about 5 houses at the side not very busy, had around 3 cars by me when i was slowin down to 30

I got done 52 in a 30 in the middle of the night on a 3 lane ring road, 3 points £60 fine

think i was around 80m away by time i got down to right speed.

other time got caught by speedtrap was less n got 41 in 30 but i only slowed down to 40 coz i thought was a 40

was there any signs 2 warn ov possible speed cameras on the road? if not they cant really touch ya in a unmarked car unless they had pulled

Was a mobile camera in a van, not required to have warning signs. Digital pics taken so no need to be pulled.

usually the un marked ones with cams popping out of shutters at the top are car reconition (sp?) cams, that just check your plates etc et
By law, speed camera vans are suppose to be marked, but tbh im sure the copper have unmarked jobbies just to gain the extra cash
