Just got a phone call from the police saying my mum was involved in a car accident on the M1 near Luton. Now she's in hospital with 'severe head injuries'. Don't know if any of you are affected by this (traffic). Complete write off for her brand new Corsa which was flipped and rolled in the accident. Apparently the guy involved sped off and didnt stop on the hard shoulder.

I don't know anymore than that and am about to go to the hospital (bedford + luton general) as soon as I can get a lift. Just trying to stay calm at the moment. Don't know what to do.

She's just come out of hospital for appendicitus.

hopefully she'll be okay.
