got letter thru the post today, theres no speed cameras on that road and i didnt get pulled so is there any way round it?

ask to see the photographic evidence of the offence... if they say there isnt any or cant produce it, contest it.

no evidence = no crime

check date of offence & compare to the date of postage... if is more than 21 days, it is no longer valid...

law says all notices of intended prosecution MUST be served within 14 days of the offence

If you cant prove who was driving then the owner of the car gets the points/fine etc. That was brought in to stop peeps saying they cant remember who was driving.

NIP has to be ussued within 28 days of the force being made aware of the offence, i.e. when the film was removed from the camera and developed.

Ask for the pics tho and check the details
