well thats it then,

guy came to look at my car last night, gave me what i wanted and took it with him last night. didnt realise how hard it is seeing your pride and joy going down the road for the last time, it was very emotional and my girlfriend started crying.

but any way now onto the next car. options are
mk1 golf gti
mk1 golf cabby
mk1 mr2
del sol-- Insurance may be abit much yet, got to check.

any other sugestions, i dont want to spend over 3k on this 1

£3000 buy something about £1500 and get this respray and all bodywork sorted... and u have one minter of a car!

Its american, you can find them round the uk, rare though but cheap. I want one too, wanna strip it bit o welding, smoothing, a respray leather interior and slammed on chromes. any vw engine would fit (apart from beetle). Bet a side exit zorst would look cool aswell.

been to look at a mk1 mr2 today, looked realy nice, didint test drive it though, need to find out abit more about them first, anyone know anything????

mk1 mr2 NOOOOO, u had it goin so right with the mk1 golf thing, plus veedubs are cheaper for parts and easier to fix
