Getting a loan to finance some a new Corsa C in the summer. (5k)
Had a brief look on the net and the lowest i can see at the moment is Goldfish at 6.2% Fixed APR. Borrowing 5 and paying back 5.6k over 48months. Not too shabby.
Anyone know of any better deals?
Cheers

I borrowed 5k off Egg and its about 5.9% fixed apr. (when I done it any ways dunno wot it is now!?) paying 5.7k back over 48 months.. includes loan protection i.e. unemployment cover, etc.. also i can pay off chunks of it when I want or u can increase/decrease ur payments when u like... very very good IMO

5.9% is pretty good, although it's 7.9% now.
Goldfish - 6.2%
Sainsburys - 6.9%
Gonna try tesco

tescos are steep from wot I remember.. interest rates have rose recently tho mate so it'll be hard to beat 6.2% apr + they're bound to carry on rising so get in there quick!

After some extensive research during what now has been a 3 hour lunch break, Goldfish are the way to go with a Fixed APR of just 6.2%. Virign loans were behind them with 6.5%, along with a few others also at 6.5%.
Gonna borrow 6k from Goldfish, plus the 3.4k from the sale of my corsa, gives me well over 9k to sort out a new Corsa... can't wait!!

You Dummy
Its not 12% APR
Tsk
Credit Union is probably just an irish thing, Most towns/communities have one. People save money, and others borrow. TBH I dont actually know much about it other than Its not a profit making organisation as its community and voluntarily run, I am taking a few K out soon to get rid of the corsa and get an Ibiza.

oh right
i just saw 1% per month, so then logically would work out to 12% apr.

i'll end up with a 1.2 SXI no doubt. Hopefully with the irmscher kit on and some 9 spoke alloy wheels like what come with the Exclusiv model.
Good luck in your search mate, there are some bargains on auto-trader!
