got some work done on it yesterday in preperation for pv 2004

manage to sort out the route of all evil (rust) on the front panel





and clean all the suspension and degrease the underneath, will be waxoiling chassis next weekend as well



had to pull it out the garage to try and find some bits for greg, so put the wheel back on it





and my helper for the day

also big big thanks to keith piper, finnally manged to get hold of a black plastic post 97 bumper, which will be going on soon

no problem mate, nearly broke the door as it is just resting like that, reversed it out, door opened, and was mm away from hitting the wall

the kit stays as i like the way it looks. Will just be taking stuff out and off here, there and everywhere. But, like I say, am still undecided.

Looking nice and clean dude Its good when u can clean everything up like that!!

Mines in the same state still, arrgghhh 4 days left, no wheels (getting refrubed), no bonnet, bumper, scuttle (getting sorted at last, in BS ), new engine bits are looking gooooooood

Oh, im in all of 2nite (Sunday) so pop round whenever. I left a message on ur VM

It looks like a clean car, just one question though; why did you get the haviest brakes possible, as it looks like you are trying to get the car as light as you can by stripping it out e.t.c...?

Dont forget, no point in stripping it out unless your gonna put smaller wheels on it, and with the kit u've got, u need at least 17"s.

Keep it, slap some ice in, then tune the engine to get the pace back

basically take everything out, and weigh that, it weighed 39kg without the seatbelts and few other bits
