Vauxhall figures are 193 bhp and 192 lb/ft torque but in reality Gsi`s usually make 180-185 bhp. So im up on standard power with the mods but omg how sh1te is the mapping? Courtenay claimed teh superchip map was to their specification but obviously hasnt worked too well looking at that graph. the drop is torque is horrific, the car is pulling like hell then above 4000rpm feels like its being choked.

Anway booked in end of the month for a dastek, hoping to break the 200bhp mark and maybe smooth out and increase that torque curve.

conclusion superchips are queer, i should have listened to vibs

yesh i trusted courtenay too much, ive always been one not to favour superchips really, but they convinced me it was a custom map suited to those mods, what a crock of sh1t

thats what i was told several times with mine... i went back for remap after rempa... then just gave up and got the unichip
