Anyone got any experience of these? I quite like them... A lot of car for not a wihle lot of money... And if you can get over the Rover thingy they look quite nice.
Insurance is not 2 bad either considering that with a chip your looking at cossie chasing.

Excellent performance however mated to a horrible front wheel drive chassis that cant cope with the power.

Maybe a decent suspension kit and an LSD would sort it out? They are a lot of car for the money, dont know how reliable they are though.

Please do not purchase this motor vehicle if you like cars that go around corners.

quick motors, about 200bhp in standard form and simple boost mods do them proud.
As said the handling really aint up to much at all.
The normal Rover 220 Turbo (not a coupe) is supposed to handle miles better with a decent set of coilovers

My mate had a 200 coupe turbo. As said before loads of car for the money, all the toys like abs, p/s, electric everything, full leather, t-bar roof etc. His had been tuned up to about 250 bhp. Would get upto 140mph no problem and 0-60 was just under 6 seconds. Had god knows what else done to it. Everything had been uprated.
Saying all that, it didn't corner and was prone to drive shaft problems. I wouldn't have one now.

Hmmmm... Well OJC might be on to something. Have been looking at the 200SX Touring as well.
They look blong slammed on some phat rimz + Tuneable.
Think they are the same lump as a pulsar but detuned?

Yeah they do go pretty cheap... Think is I only have up2 5k, so realistically if I get a 200SX its gonna have 70-90K on the clock...
They are reliable tho defo...

My mate used to have one..Pretty rapid like but as said they do not handle and the brakes are shite
I would only consider one if it were a minter 1 owner and was cheap! 200sx is a much better option!!! Series 2 like Like in the pic ....
