Thats not a bad price actually, if you could'nt sell it on you could break it, you'd get 2k for the engine and interior alone.

You'd be hard pressed to find any turbo car that has'nt been ragged, thats why people buy those types of cars on the first place.

i have a 1997 se8 in magnetic blue but not for sale lol and after dozens of novas, corsas etc it is undoubtdly the best car I have ever purchased. if u are after performance ie turbo 0-60 is good standard but even better with a phase kit. the t/box's are fine if looked after but you have to rotate the tyres to keep tread even, which can be rather costly.

I am surprised by peoples opinion of them on here as I have had nothing but drooles off folk since I bought mine. Like I say the phase kits give the real power, my mate often thrashes Audi TT's off the lights (yes the quatros, I think they have twin exhasts) he has a 3.5 kit as i remember but you could just get the phase 2 chip as like i said they are very nippy with the 6 speed box. You get a hell of a lot more for your money than any corsa apart from the great corsa go kart feel but its a coupe it aint meant to be a go kart !!

The 4x4 system happly plays with scoobies etc and really does get the power down nicely. You could always take the fuse out and drive with front wheel drive to keep petrol down and wait till you have enough dosh to sort t/box out.

Id say dont get a red or white one as they look a bit crap in my opinion, www.clubcalibra.com is a good source of information. Heres a few pics just to temp you and show you all what your missin, each to their own lol
