My mate just bought one, really nice motor. What are the performance stats of these?
How would i fare against one? I presume that it would be quite close to 60 then he'd nail me.

1.8 T sport - 150bhp standard
1.8 T quattro - 180bhp standard

tis not too special as standard, but its quick when chipped

also, do your mate a favour. Tell him not to put an oiled induction kit on like piperx or K&N. He will fuck the MAF sensor and they cost 280 quid to replace.

well im looking to spend nomore than 6 grand, there is quite a few about for thtat, nice one i saw 78k r reg with aircon 5 grand.

well, to be honest, for that money your gonna get a shitter. good ones go for around 8-9k. Anything over 60k, make sure it has had a cambelt change. If not, dont touch it as its 200 quid to have that done

not as standard, no. I dont know the figures for your car but the A3 weighs a hell of a lot more. Considering the engine it has, it is very underpowered.

my cousins best mate owns an audi dealership. im not too worried on the condition as my bro is a panel beater and my dad/uncle do engine remanufacturing.
