Just been reading about the new skoda fabia vRS.



it kicks out 229lb/ft of torque at 1900rpm



and its diesel which will give you well over 40 miles to the gallon

what u lot think?

If your refering to the test done in outo express, they wreakon it was down to the fact the SEAT had a few thou miles on it and the SKODA was delivery miles.

They r nice.


I think Skoda are past that embarassing stage now.

skoda may have been completly overhauled but you'll still get laughed at in the bar if you say you drive one no matter how good a car it is.

I currently drive a Skoda Fabia 1.9 SDI as a company car, and at first i was against it but now i have to say it really isnt a bad car, they are quite comfortable just a shame it isnt the Turbo or RS, Skoda is a VW with a cheap badge.

Also today i saw a Car Transport lorry with Fabia's Octavia's and a lone VW R32 which kept me entertained for a while.

I have to say that they still suffer from poor quality just like seat do, however they are getting better. the fabia TDi 130 also don;t have a downward poiting exhaust which means the back of the car gets muchy. seen one yesterday sprouting smoke
