i was driving wiv my mate last night, he was in his 1.2 merit and i have a 1.416v sport! well we were both going down the bypass and he said he was doing 98mph, and i flew past him, and left him, but my speedo only said 100!!!! i have 17" how much is it going to put my speedo out???

oh yeah every since i have had the lockwood dials i had to take the needles off and the spedo has never really been the same!!

is there anywhere i go to put the speedo right????

u shouldnt have taken the needles off!! ur speedo is gauranteed to be way off.

yeah but the last owner had dials which were fucked, the needle couldnt go over 30, bcoz the paper had gone bubbly!! he did them his self, so the only way in which i could remove the dials is to remove the needles!!!!

agreed ur best best is to take the whole speedo/rev counter dash bit out and replace it with another from a similar corsa.

or maybe a garage can sort yours out?

if you visit http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html then this tells you wot speed you are going when you are going 60mph if you have bigger wheels on
